Who can apply? Hospital staff

You can apply if you work at a public hospital in Norway, whatever your role. Out-of-hours clinics (legevakt), GP offices, nursing homes and private hospitals and clinics are not included for now.

How to get access

    Create a free account with your email and a password. It takes a minute.

  2. Confirm where you work

    Upload documentation of your employment. We delete it as soon as it has been reviewed.

  3. Use the discounts

    Approval usually takes a few minutes, and at most a day. Then the discounts are yours, online and in the app.

Discounts for nurses, doctors and everyone else at the hospital

OPRA is a free membership that gives discounts at Norwegian and international brands to the people on the front line. Hospital staff are included because the work you do keeps society running, around the clock.

Membership covers everyone employed at a public hospital, not only clinical staff. Nurses, doctors, healthcare workers, porters, cleaning and operations staff can all apply the same way.

Why is it free?

The companies offering discounts do it to show their support for those who keep us safe. You pay nothing, and there is no commitment.

Does it cost anything?

No. Membership is free, and there is no commitment.

Can I apply if I work at a private hospital or an out-of-hours clinic?

Not for now. OPRA is for staff at public hospitals. Out-of-hours clinics, GP offices, nursing homes and private hospitals and clinics are not included.

What do I need to document?

That you work at a public hospital, for example with your staff ID card, a clipping from your payslip or an employment letter. Only show your name and employer. The documentation is deleted once it has been reviewed.

How long does approval take?

Usually a few minutes, and at most a day.

Where do I use the discounts?

You find the discount codes on opra.app and in the OPRA app for iPhone and Android. Many work in online stores, some in physical stores too.
